Battle 7: Eyrem Vos, Howling Banshee Exarch - Vs - Drazhar, Master of Blades
The crowd chanted at
the two rivals who had just entered the arena. Two rivals, yet, linked
distantly. An Eldar Aspect Warrior and a Dark Eldar Champion, both lethal,
but this contest would decide who was stronger, faster and deadlier than the
other. Eyrem Vos, warrior of the Howling Banshee Aspect, veteran of
countless battles, swung her Power Glaive masterfully in her gauntleted
hands. The dark body of Drazhar was still, two Skull hilted Blades in his
hands. Eyrem started to howl, the howl which had given her aspect its name.
Drazhar still did not move. She moved forward, but didn’t swing, as Drazhar
was far faster and would simply cleave into her waist if she attacked. She
blinked and Drazhar was upon her, his right hand swinging. She raised the
Power Glaive and his Disemboweller blade clashed onto the charged metal. She
pushed her strength into her lethal weapon, but it was of no avail, Drazhar
was far stronger and pushed her over using a single hand. Drazhar jumped,
both blades pointing downwards, aiming to skewer Eyrem upon their glinting
metal. Eyrem blocked with the Glaive and kicked, her feet just hitting
Drazhar who staggered backwards. She flipped to her feet, moving into a more
defensive stance, as Drazhar would sense another opening if she went on the
assault again.
Drazhar jumped, bringing one of the Disembowellers around. Eyrem locked her
top Glaive blade with the Disemboweller and twisted, the Disemboweller
forcing itself from Drazhar’s hand. He flipped the other Disemboweller
round, so he held it in a sword-like grip. Eyrem sought a chance, now that
that they were fairly equal in weapon terms. She spun the Glaive above her
head brought it down on Drazhar who blocked. The next thing Eyrem knew was
that she was falling. Drazhar, who had anticipated the attack, had blocked
and then kicked Eyrem in the stomach, and unlike Eyrem’s earlier kick, this
one was close and powerful, winding Eyrem and knocking her over. The Glaive
fell out of her armoured hands, and she smashed into the floor, dust
spreading up. Drazhar lunged forward, having retrieved the other
Disemboweller Blade, his black armoured legs propelling him faster than a
cheetah. He fell onto Eyrem, a Tiger upon a fallen Wildebeest, Blades
slashing into Eyrem. She was blocking with her gauntleted hands, but the
light, thin armour was no match for the sharpness of the Blades. The left
arm fell off as Drazhar put force into it. Then the right. Eyrem was truly
howling like a Banshee now, defeated at the hands of her arch foe. Drazhar
decapitated her head with a single swift stroke of a Disemboweller Blade. He
stood and turned around, ignoring the crimson liquid dripping onto his jet
black armour. The crowd chanted and chanted, the noise echoing and
reverberating in Drazhar’s ears. He did not care. She wanted to fight, she
had a fight, it was of no cause to celebrate to Drazhar, and it would only
show that he thought Eyrem was a worthy opponent. The gate opened and
Drazhar, Master of Blades, disappeared back into his favourite area. The
shadows…
RESULT: DRAZHAR, MASTER OF BLADES WINS!!!!!!!!
